Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, a unit of the National Park Service, is the federal body which helps protect the Delaware River. Managing and caring for over 70 miles of the last undammed river in the eastern United States is not an easy task. Education becomes a key factor for the park to help continue its preservation and pristine condition today and for the future generations of tomorrow.
Inspired by nature, this interactive tour was created in honor of the National Park Service’s Centennial celebration. Developed in partnership with Quiet Light Films and World One River, this interactive tour provides an online experience for the world to appreciate and get a glimpse of what this precious and delicate natural resource embodies.
Provided in five separate subject modules, the experience covers the outstandingly remarkable values of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. It is available for viewing enjoyment on the National Park Service website.
